Community Forestry Assessment Report — Phoenix

This i-Tree Community Forestry Assessment demonstrates how the benefits of urban trees far outweigh the costs of planting and maintenance.

This model assessment investigates Phoenix’s urban forest structure, function and value to enable management decisions that improve human health and environmental quality while also identifying potential pest or disease concerns. The assessment helps managers decide where to plant for specific benefits, what species to select, and analyze potential risks from pests and disease.
