Set Priorities

No doubt more trees are better for your community than fewer. But how much is enough? And where are they needed? To answer these questions you need to gather as much solid information about your trees as you can: which neighborhoods have robust canopy, and which don’t? Are publicly owned trees healthy or not, and which ones may soon need maintenance to prevent future damage to people or the landscape?

Finally, what steps can you take to bridge the gap between neighborhoods which enjoy the benefits of trees and those which don’t?

Find out by continuing to the Map Your Tree Canopy section.
